Terms & conditions

The present Terms & Conditions (together with the Privacy and Cookie Policy) jointly referred to hereinafter as "Terms & Conditions" establish the conditions that determine the use of Parfois' website https://www.parfois.com/en/se/home/ ("Parfois' website") and regulate the sale of products on Parfois' website. The currently applicable Terms & Conditions are accessible on Parfois' website.

Parfois invites you to carefully read the Terms & Conditions, as well as the Privacy and Cookie Policy, before using or making purchases from Parfois' website.

When you use Parfois' website or place an order through it, you declare that you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you undertake to comply with them. If you do not accept these Terms & Conditions, you shall refrain from using Parfois' website and/or making any purchases from it.

Parfois reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time, in which case the updated Terms & Conditions will be made available on Parfois' website. After Parfois has published a new version of the Terms and Conditions, the use of the Parfois' website as well as placing orders from it will be subject to the new version of the Terms & Conditions in force. The Terms and Conditions must be expressly accepted prior to the submission of the order.

To place an order on Parfois' website, you declare that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.

The Terms & Conditions regulate the sale of the products presented on the website by Parfois:

When registering an account on Parfois' website, you must ensure that the mandatory information provided is correct and complete. We request that you inform Parfois of changes in your identification data, such as postal address, email address, and other contact details, by updating your personal information on Parfois' website without delay. Parfois is not responsible for any shipments or information made to outdated or incorrect contact information which has not been updated in accordance with this section.

Parfois' website allows you to make purchases through the "Buy as a Guest" feature in which it is not necessary to register an account. Regardless of whether you make a purchase with a registered account or through the "Buy as a Guest" feature, you are obligated to ensure that the mandatory information provided is correct and complete. Only personal data strictly necessary to execute your request are requested, which will only be used for this purpose.

By using and purchasing products through Parfois' website, you are bound not to make false or fraudulent orders, and Parfois may, if it considers that an order of this nature has been carried out, proceed to cancel the relevant order and inform the competent authorities.

The feasibility of delivery is ensured by confirming that the information you have provided is correct. If any necessary information is missing, it will not be possible to complete the order.

To order one or more products available on the website, you must follow the following procedures:

  • Choose the product on the Parfois website;
  • Add the product to the "Bag";
  • Then, click on "Go To Checkout";
  • You may proceed with the Purchase, as a Guest ("Checkout as Guest") or by creating an account ("Create Account") or, if you already have an account, by logging in with your email address and password, or by accessing via Facebook or Google.

(I) Buy as a Guest

If you choose to "Checkout as Guest", you will have to complete a form which includes the following information:

  • First and last name;
  • Address and district;
  • Phone number;
  • Email address;
  • Invoice address;
  • VAT number.

(II) New Customer Registration

If you choose the "Create Account" option, you will have to complete a form which includes the following information:

  • First and last name;
  • Date of birth;
  • Email address;
  • Password;

Once you have filled out the form with all the above information, you must select the Method of Delivery of the product, in accordance with the provisions of Point 6 below. You should then choose one of the Payment Methods available (see Section 5 below). Finally, you should click on "Confirm Payment".

In order to "Confirm Payment", you must first accept the present Terms & Conditions.

Once the order is finished, Parfois will send you an "Order Confirmation" email. This email is a mere automated proof, which means that we have received your order and in which is sent to you information about the number and date of the order, method of delivery and payment, delivery and invoice address, product price, shipping cost, product identification and its basic characteristics.

Always make sure to review your purchase before clicking "Confirm Payment". Before clicking on "Confirm Payment" you have the possibility to edit any information you entered, such as the shipping or invoice address, payment information, or to add, change or remove products in the "Bag".

You can always access your purchase history, which contains information on number, date and order status, product identification and its basic characteristics, respective price and shipping costs, payment method used, selected delivery method and invoice address on the Parfois website under "My Account".

The receipt of the purchase will be sent to you in paper format along with your order.

In case of difficulties with your order, you can always contact Parfois Customer Service on 0 800 169 04 48 (FREE) or at contact@parfois.com.

All product orders will be subject to the availability thereof. If there are any difficulties regarding the supply of products or if there are no products in stock, Parfois will inform you of the unavailability and will refund you the amount you may have paid, within a maximum period of 14 (fourteen) days.

The prices for the products you order are those displayed on Parfois' website at the time the order is placed, including VAT at the legal rate applicable in the selected country, but excluding shipping costs, which will be added to the total order value.

Prices are shown in the currency of the selected country based on the geographical location of your IP address. However, you may change the selected country by changing the address in your browser to another country's version of the website.

Please note that when changing your selected country, the prices and shipping costs may vary, and the prices of the new, selected country will apply.

Shipping costs will be calculated based on the chosen shipping method, and you will always be informed about the total price of your order before completing it. This will include the product price, all taxes, and any additional shipping costs or other fees that may apply.

Parfois reserves the right to modify product prices and shipping costs at any time without affecting orders that have already been confirmed, except in the case of a clear pricing error.

We strive to ensure the accuracy of all prices displayed on Parfois' website; however, occasional errors may occur. If we find an error in the price of any product you have ordered, we will notify you as soon as possible and give you the option to either confirm your order at the correct price or cancel the order to receive a full refund.

If we are unable to contact you, the order will be canceled, and any payments made will be fully refunded.

We are not required to provide a product at an incorrect, lower price, even if we have already sent the shipment confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable, and could reasonably have been recognized by you as incorrect.

If a product has been shipped to you and you do not wish to pay the price difference (between the correct price and the obvious incorrect price), you must return the order immediately.

Promotional codes, such as discount coupons, can be used to apply discounts to specific products, an entire order, or for free shipping. Promotional codes apply only to purchases made on Parfois' website and are valid only in the country where the purchase is made.

When using a promotional code, please ensure you enter it in the appropriate field during checkout. Should you forget to enter the code, the code cannot be used for already placed orders, however, it may be used in a subsequent order, provided that the code is appliable to use with the new order.

Payments can be made through Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Paypal, Klarna, Google Pay, and Apple Pay (via IOS app). Parfois will under no circumstances be held liable for payment errors occurring with a third-party payment service.

All orders are processed in the local currency of the respective country of purchase. If your bank account is in a different currency, the exchange rate used for debiting your account will be automatically determined by your bank or selected payment method and not by Parfois.

You expressly authorize us to issue your invoice electronically. However, you may request a paper invoice at any time, in which case we will issue such invoice to the physical address you have provided Parfois with.

- Visa, Mastercard, Maestro Cards

In order to reduce the risks of unauthorized access, your credit card data will be encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol and verified by Digicert, as best explained in the Privacy Policy.

If payment is made using a credit card, a pre-authorization will be made to ensure that you have sufficient funds to complete the transaction.

After selecting the credit payment option, you must enter the necessary data of your credit card, namely the cardholder name, the type of credit card, the number, validity and security code of the card and, then click "Confirm Payment".

In case the payment is not authorized, no charge will be made.

- Paypal

Payment by Paypal is a safe method.

In case the payment is made via Paypal the debit will be made after clicking on "Confirm Payment".

- Klarna (Pay Over Time and Pay Later)

In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice: https://www.klarna.com/international/privacy-policy/.

- Google Pay

With Google Pay, it's possible to make purchases using credit or debit cards stored in their Google account.

- Apple Pay

Apple Pay provides a secure and seamless payment method which could be confirmed through Touch ID or Face ID authentication.

All products on Sweden's country version of Parfois' website are available for delivery only in Sweden.. Deliveries will not be made to post office box addresses. Orders will be delivered to the address specified at the time of purchase.

Orders will only be dispatched after confirming stock availability and payment confirmation. They will be shipped by Parfois' partner companies, which will handle delivery through their respective offices closest to your geographical location.

When placing an order, you will be asked to select your preferred shipping method. The total amount payable will always clearly indicate the applicable shipping costs.

Parfois will make every effort to ensure delivery of your order within the estimated timeframe indicated when selecting the shipping method and, in any case, within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of the Order Confirmation. Please note that delivery times may be extended during peak seasons. Orders will only be shipped and delivered on working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and local/national holidays. If, for any reason, we are unable to meet the estimated delivery date, we will inform you as soon as possible and provide the option to proceed with the purchase by setting a new delivery date or cancelling the order with a full refund of the amount paid.

For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, "delivery" will be considered complete when you or a third party designated by you takes physical possession of the goods, as evidenced by the signing of the receipt at the agreed delivery address.

Orders may be placed on Parfois' website or app from any EU member state, but the products available on Sweden's country version of Parfois' website can only be delivered to addresses within Sweden .  If you wish to make a purchase with delivery to another country, you must change the selected country, in which case the terms and conditions for the selected country apply.

If we are unable to deliver your order to your chosen address, we will try to locate a nearby pick-up point where it can be collected. If no suitable pick-up point is available near your chosen address, the order will be returned to our warehouse. In such cases, we will inform you of the order’s location and instructions on how to retrieve it.

If your order remains undelivered for reasons beyond our control for a period of 15 days from the date it becomes available for delivery,  the order will be cancelled. As a result, we will refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery charge (excluding any additional costs incurred due to your selection of a delivery method other than the standard option), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the order termination date. Please note that if you choose a more costly method of delivery when placing your order than the least expensive standard means of delivery offered, additional transport costs arising from the contract termination may be deducted from your refund.

If for any reason you want to return a product, you can do so without any charges and without justification, within 14 (fourteen) days from the day Parfois delivered the order to you directly or to a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier.

When applicable, we will inform you that personalized items are exclusively designed and manufactured for your purchase. Therefore, the right of withdrawal does not apply in accordance with Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU and Chapter 2, Section 11,Point 3 of the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (Sw. Lag (2005:59) om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler). Likewise, these items are not eligible for our voluntary return policy (see section 10 below).

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify Parfois of this intention by means of an unequivocal declaration of withdrawal. You can notify us at Rua Do Sistelo, 755 - Lugar de Santegãos , 4435-429 Rio Tinto, Portugal. You can also notify us about your decision to withdrawal from the contract by writing to us using our contact form, available on Parfois' website or app. You may, but are not obligated to, use the withdrawal form as set out as Annex 1.

If you choose to submit the withdrawal form or any other unequivocal statement of withdrawal by electronic means through Parfois' website, Parfois will send you, without delay and within a maximum of 24 hours, on a durable medium (e.g., by email) a notice of receipt of the contract withdrawal statement. You may also, but are not obliged to, use the standard withdrawal form (Sw. Ångerblankett) provided by the Swedish Consumer Agency, which is available at the Swedish Consumer Agency's website at www.konsumentverket.se.

To initiate a return, you may drop off the goods at the nearest drop-off point using the return label included in your package (for the original transaction). For any inquiries, please visit our Help Center, which is regularly updated with the latest return procedure information, including carrier details.

If you choose to use your right of withdrawal from this contract, we will refund to you all payments we have received from you, including the delivery costs (except for the additional costs of choosing a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method we offer), without delay and in any event no later than 14 days after we receive notice of withdrawal. We will make the refund using the payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, and in any event at no cost to you for the refund. Please note that once we have made the refund, it may take a few days, depending on your bank, before the payment appears in your bank account. We may withhold any refund until we have received the return of the product or until you have proved that you have sent the product back.

You must send the products back or hand them over to us without delay and no later than 14 days after the date of the notice of withdrawal. The time limit is deemed to have been met if you return the products before the expiry of that 14-day period.

You are only liable for depreciation of the value of the products resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functionality of the products. Returns will be accepted only if the products have not been used and have their original tags. To make a return, you must have your original proof of purchase. Parfois cannot accept the return of used or damaged items.   Returns of personalized items (made according to the consumer's specifications) will not be accepted

Products may only be exchanged in person at designated Parfois stores, as listed. Product exchanges must be made within 30 (thirty) days from the day which Parfois delivered the product to you directly or to a third party indicated by you. Exchanges of personalized items (according to the consumers specifications) will not be accepted.

Parfois ensures the guarantee of conformity of goods purchased on Parfois' website in accordance with the provisions of the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Sw. Konsumentköplag (2022:260)). If the product is defective or deviates from what was agreed, you as a consumer have the right to complain to us about the product. For this, it is necessary that the non-conformity of the purchased product is manifested within a maximum period of 3 (three) years from the delivery of the product. Any defect that becomes apparent within the first 2 (two) years is presumed to have existed at the time of the delivery, unless Parfois proves otherwise or such a presumption is incompatible with the nature of the goods or the defect itself, for example that the defect is due to an accident, negligence, abnormal use, or similar circumstances on your part ("Parfois' liability for defects").

 The defective products may be returned by dropping off the goods at the nearest drop-off point using the return label included in your package (for the original transaction). If, after examining the product, Parfois verifies that there is a defect or lack of conformity of the purchased product, the customer may choose one of the following remedies: free repair or replacement of the product (if rectification of the defect is not impossible due to force majeure or does not entail unreasonable costs), an appropriate price reduction, or termination of the contract with a full refund of the purchase price.

Parfois will proceed with the repair, replacement of the product, or refund (in full or in part), based on your preference, as soon as possible. Repairs and replacements will be delivered within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days, and refunds will be processed within 14 (fourteen) days.

If you choose to terminate the contract and  return the product, you will be refunded the amount paid for the product, as well as any delivery costs and, where applicable, return costs. The refund will be issued using the same payment method as the original transaction, unless you explicitly expressly requested an alternative method.

Parfois' liability for defects does not apply to malfunctions resulting from improper use of the products purchased, non-compliance with the indications or instructions accompanying the products, or repairs carried out by unauthorized third parties.

The products that Parfois sells often have the characteristics of the natural materials used in their manufacture. These characteristics, such as variations in grain, texture, knots and colors, are not considered defects or lack of conformity. Rather, you should expect their presence. Such characteristics are unavoidable and should be accepted as part of the individual product appearance.

Personalized products are exclusively designed and manufactured for your purchase. Due to the unique nature of these products and the fact that the preview is generated by digital software, there may be variations in color, actual sizes, and textures compared to what is displayed on the screen.

The sale of 925 silver products on Parfois' website is carried out in compliance with Portuguese Law No. 98/2015 of 18 August, which approves the Legal Regime for Jewelry Making and Hallmarking Laboratories, under the terms recently amended by Decree-Law 120/2017 of 15 September. All 925 silver products available on Parfois' website bear the corresponding hallmarks and responsibility marks. Notwithstanding this, based on the low weight of a metal, certain pieces of jewelry may bear no marks (hallmarks). You can check the type of precious metal used, the corresponding hallmarks, the weight of the metal and the type of gemological metals used after opening the image of the product you wish to purchase, in the “Product details” section. The weight being referred to in the description of each piece relates to the weight of the metal used solely in the composition of the piece. Some pieces may also show variations in weight. In case of doubts regarding the authenticity of the marks, the buyer may draw on the services offered by hallmarking laboratories for verification purposes. Your Parfois timepiece is covered by our warranty against any defects in manufacturing for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase. The warranty only covers the watch movement and does not cover:

  • Damages caused by inappropriate use or negligent handling of the product nor the natural wear-out inherent to it;
  • The battery;
  • Water damage, except in watches marked as water resistant.
  • External damages to the bracelet or strap, glass, or case.
  • Damages that are not caused by defective materials or manufacturing defects.

The warranty is offered in accordance with the current legislation to be valid:

  • It must include the purchase invoice if the product was bought online;
  • It must be authenticated with the store stamp at the time of purchase and have the respective sales slip stapled to it if the product was bought at a store;

All copyright, trademark and other intellectual property rights in the materials or content that are provided as part of Parfois' website and app are at any time owned by Parfois or the licensor. You may only use such material in the expressly authorized manner.

This does not prevent you from using Parfois' website or app, to the extent necessary, to copy the information relating to your order or contract data.

Applicable law requires that information or notifications are sent in writing. By using Parfois' website or app, you agree that the notifications sent by the Parfois are sent electronically.

For contractual purposes, you agree to use electronic means of communication and acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information, and other communications sent electronically will satisfy the legal requirement for written notices. This condition does not affect any rights granted to you under applicable law.

If you have any questions or uncertainties regarding these Terms & Conditions, you can contact Parfois via Customer Service. You can find the available contact options for the customer support team HERE.

You can delete your account at any time by  using the app or Parfois' website. In any case, enter the app or the website and, after identifying yourself, select the "account" option. Select "my account" and select "delete your account". If you intend to delete your account, answer the question "are you sure you want to delete your account?" by selecting "yes, thank you. I want to delete it.". After selecting this option, you will receive an email to confirm the removal of your account. Please note that you must confirm the deletion of your account in the email sent to you.

Deleting your account does not result in the immediate removal of all your personal data. Parfois is required by law to temporarily store certain data (mainly relating to your name, order history, and transactions carried out) for a specified period. After this period expires, your data will be permanently deleted. For more information about how we process your personal data, please see our Privacy Policy HERE.

Deleting your account prevents access to all its features and benefits but does not imply or affect the cancellation of our newsletter or of any type of marketing and advertising communications to which you have previously consented. To stop receiving our newsletter or other marketing and advertising communications, please use the "unsubscribe" option provided in the communication (e.g., in the newsletter or other marketing communications).

We also remind you that the deletion of your account does not affect any rights that Parfois may assert against you, including the right to payment or refund of any outstanding amounts, or the fulfillment of any other duties and obligations owed to Parfois.

If you wish to re-register your account, please follow the necessary steps outlined in Section 2 to create a new account, including re-entering your details.

Parfois will make every reasonable effort to fulfil its obligations.

However, Parfois cannot be held liable for non-compliance or delay in complying with any of its obligations, which are due to events that are beyond its control ("Force Majeure").

Force Majeure refers to any unforeseeable or irresistible facts, acts, events, happenings, faults, omissions, accidents, or any other circumstances beyond our control, including, but not limited to, the following:

  1. General strike, or other forms of protest;
  2. State of siege or emergency, disturbance of public order, revolt, invasion, terrorist attack or terrorist threat, war (declared or not), or threat or preparation for war;
  3. Fire, explosions, storms, floods, earthquakes, landslides, epidemics, or any other natural disaster;
  4. The impossibility of using trains, boats, aircrafts, motor transports, or other means of transport, public or private;
  5. Impossibility of using public or private telecommunications systems;
  6. Decisions, decrees, laws, regulations, or other normative instruments or decisions of any government or public authority.

Parfois' obligations derived from the contract shall be deemed to be suspended during the period in which the Force Majeure occurs, thereby benefiting Parfois from an extension of the time limit for fulfilling those obligations, for a period equal to the duration of the Force Majeure period.

Parfois will use reasonable means to terminate the Force Majeure motives or to find a solution that will enable it to comply with its obligations under the contract, despite Force Majeure motives.

Links to other websites and/or third party materials referenced on Parfois' website or app are provided solely for the purpose of obtaining information, and Parfois does not have any control over the content of these websites or materials. Therefore, Parfois cannot be held responsible for any damages or losses resulting from the use thereof.

All matters relating to the application or interpretation of the present Terms & Conditions and any dispute resulting from the interpretation, validity, or breach of contract between the parties shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Swedish courts.

To such disputes will be applicable, with express resignation to another, the Swedish law.

In case you have been dissatisfied with the purchase of the product or with the service provided on Parfois' website, you may also, without prejudice to the right to submit the dispute to the appraisal and decision of a court to appeal to one of the alternative consumption dispute settlement entities, at https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr.

For consumer dispute resolutions in Sweden, you are advised to contact Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN) in the first instance at http://www.arn.se.
