Terms & conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Parfois website and mobile application together referred to as the “Platform”, and the purchase of products through the Platform.

The Platform is operated, and products are sold, by the following company, identified on the Platform by the brand “Parfois”:

Customers may contact Parfois through the contact form, by email or by telephone using the contact details indicated above. The telephone number is provided for consumer contact purposes and shall not involve costs higher than the basic rate applicable to the consumer’s telecom plan.

We invite you to carefully read these Terms & Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy, before using the Platform or placing an order.

By using the Platform or placing an order, you declare that you accept these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them, as they form an integral part of the electronic sale contract.

To place an order, you declare that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding contracts.

The Company may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The applicable Terms & Conditions will be those in force at the time of placing the order. Where required by applicable law, consumers will be informed of changes in an appropriate manner and asked to expressly accept the updated Terms & Conditions before placing a subsequent order.

By using the Platform, you undertake not to place false or fraudulent orders. Where there are reasonable grounds to suspect that an order is false, fraudulent or abusive, Parfois may cancel it and, where appropriate, inform the competent authorities, in accordance with applicable law.

The information contained in these Terms & Conditions and on the Platform does not constitute an offer for sale, but an invitation to place an order. No contract for the sale of any product exists between you and Parfois until Parfois expressly accepts your order, regardless of whether funds have already been reserved or debited from your account.

To place an order on the Platform, you must follow the online purchase procedure, which includes:

  • selecting the product(s) after reviewing their main characteristics and price;
  • adding the product(s) to the “Bag”;
  • going to checkout;
  • choosing whether to checkout as guest or through a registered account;
  • providing the required delivery, billing and contact information;
  • selecting the delivery method available for Romania;
  • selecting the payment method available for Romania;
  • reviewing and correcting, where necessary, the information entered before payment;
  • accepting these Terms & Conditions; and
  • clicking the “Pay” or equivalent payment button to confirm payment.

For checkout as guest, you may be asked to provide information such as first and last name, delivery address, phone number, email address, billing address and VAT number, where applicable.

For account registration, you may be asked to provide information such as first and last name, email address and password. Registration is not mandatory to place an order if the “Checkout as guest” feature is available.

After placing an order, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order (“Order Confirmation”). The Order Confirmation is an automated acknowledgement that we have received your order. It does not constitute acceptance of your order.

All orders are subject to acceptance by Parfois. We will confirm acceptance of your order by sending you an email confirming dispatch of the products (“Shipping Confirmation”). The contract for the purchase of the products (“Contract”) is concluded only when Parfois sends you the Shipping Confirmation.

The Contract applies only to the products listed in the Shipping Confirmation. Parfois is not obliged to deliver any other product that may have been included in your order until dispatch of that product has been confirmed in a separate Shipping Confirmation.

Order Confirmation and Shipping Confirmation are sent to your email address. These Terms are available on the Platform. The document is saved and can be accessed by you.

An electronic receipt or invoice, as applicable, may be sent by email or made available through the Platform after dispatch of the order. If you have a registered account, you may access your order history through your account area on the Platform.

If Parfois does not accept your order and funds have already been debited, the relevant amount will be refunded without undue delay.


2.1 Order cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before they enter the processing or dispatch preparation stage, where technically possible.

Once an order has reached the processing or dispatch preparation stage, cancellation may no longer be possible.

If the order has already been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible, and the customer must follow the withdrawal or return procedure described in Clause 8 or 9.

All product orders are subject to availability.

If difficulties arise regarding the supply of products, or if products are out of stock, Parfois may inform you about substitute products of equal or higher quality and value.

If you do not wish to order such substitute products, or if no substitute product is available, Parfois will reimburse any amount already paid for unavailable products without undue delay and, in any event, within the maximum period required by applicable law.

Parfois may cancel an order partially if only part of the products ordered are unavailable. In such cases, reimbursement for unavailable items will be initiated without undue delay and made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.


3.1. Product information, images and characteristics

Parfois makes every reasonable effort to display the main characteristics of its products accurately, including colours, dimensions, materials, size and other essential information relevant to the purchase decision.

However, the appearance of products may vary depending on device, screen settings and lighting conditions. For this reason, colours, textures and proportions displayed on the Platform may differ slightly from the actual product.

Certain products may present natural variations resulting from the materials used in their manufacture or from handmade elements. Such variations are not considered defects or lack of conformity, provided that they do not affect the essential characteristics or normal use of the product.

Product descriptions, images and measurements are provided for information purposes and may be subject to minor variations that do not affect the essential characteristics of the product.

The prices payable for the products are those displayed on the Romanian section of the Platform at the time the order is placed, except in the case of an obvious and unmistakable error. Prices include applicable VAT but exclude shipping costs, unless otherwise expressly stated.

Prices and payments for Romania are displayed and processed in Romanian Lei (RON). If your bank account is in another currency, your bank or payment provider may apply exchange rates and/or transaction fees outside Parfois’ control.

Shipping costs, if applicable, will be indicated during the checkout process before you place the order. The total price, including taxes, delivery costs and any other applicable charges, will be displayed clearly before payment.

Parfois may change product prices and shipping costs at any time, but such changes will not affect orders for which an Order Confirmation has already been issued, except in the case of obvious and unmistakable pricing errors as described below.


4.1 Obvious pricing or technical errors

While Parfois makes every reasonable effort to ensure that all information on the Platform is accurate, errors may occasionally occur, including errors in prices, product descriptions, availability or promotional conditions.

If Parfois discovers an obvious and unmistakable error affecting an order you have placed, Parfois will inform you as soon as reasonably possible and give you the option to confirm the order under the correct conditions or cancel it. If Parfois is unable to contact you, the order may be cancelled and any payment made will be fully refunded.

Parfois is not obliged to supply products at an incorrect price where the error is obvious, unmistakable and could reasonably have been recognized as such by the consumer.


4.2 Promotional codes and campaigns

Promotional codes, coupons, discounts and campaigns may be subject to additional specific terms and conditions which will be communicated at the time of the promotion or campaign. These specific rules may include, among others, validity period, eligible products, excluded products, minimum order value, applicable territory, return consequences and combination restrictions.

Promotional codes cannot be redeemed for cash and may not be combined with other promotions unless expressly stated. In case of conflict between these Terms & Conditions and specific campaign rules, the specific campaign rules shall prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Parfois may refuse, suspend or cancel a promotional code or campaign in case of fraud, abuse, tampering, technical error or misuse, in accordance with applicable law.

Available payment methods may include Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, PayPal, Klarna, Google Pay, Apple Pay or other payment methods displayed at checkout. The payment methods available may vary depending on technical, operational or payment provider conditions.

By confirming payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

For card payments, card data is processed through secure payment providers using appropriate security measures. Parfois does not store full card details except where expressly indicated and consented to, such as where a payment provider enables saved payment methods in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

If payment is made via a third-party payment provider, such as PayPal, Klarna, Google Pay or Apple Pay, the payment may also be subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy notice.

Invoices or receipts will be issued electronically and sent to the email address provided during the purchase or made available through the Platform, where applicable.

Orders placed through the Romanian section of the Platform can only be delivered in Romania, unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout.

Orders will be delivered to the address provided by the customer during checkout. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery information provided is accurate, complete and up to date.

Orders are shipped only after stock availability and payment has been confirmed. Deliveries are carried out by delivery partners chosen by Parfois.

Delivery methods for Romania may include:

  • Home delivery
  • Pick-up point delivery / PUDO
  • Store Delivery (if available)

Delivery times are estimates and may vary, particularly during peak seasons, promotional periods, public holidays, operational incidents or circumstances beyond Parfois’ reasonable control. In any event, products will be delivered within the maximum period required by applicable consumer law unless otherwise agreed.

If Parfois cannot comply with the estimated or agreed delivery date, Parfois will inform you and offer the option to continue the purchase with a new delivery date or to cancel the order, with full refund of amounts paid, in accordance with applicable law.

Delivery shall be deemed completed when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the products. Risk in the products passes to the customer upon delivery.

Upon delivery, customers are advised to inspect the condition of the package before accepting the order. If the packaging is visibly damaged, customers are encouraged, where possible, to refuse delivery. If delivery is accepted, the customer should document the condition of the package and the products, where possible by taking photographs, and notify customer support as soon as reasonably possible.

Prompt notification allows Parfois to investigate the incident with the carrier and process any claim more efficiently. This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights in relation to defective or non-conforming products.

If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address details, absence of the recipient or other circumstances attributable to the customer, the carrier may attempt redelivery or make the order available at a pick-up point, where applicable.

If the order is returned to Parfois after unsuccessful delivery attempts or because it has not been collected within the applicable period, Parfois may treat the Contract as cancelled and refund the amount paid, excluding any additional delivery, storage or return costs that may be lawfully charged, where applicable.

If you purchase products as a consumer, you have the statutory right to withdraw from the Contract within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the products. If multiple products from one order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the last product.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform Parfois of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement before the withdrawal period expires. You may contact Parfois using:

If you submit the withdrawal statement electronically, Parfois will send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium, such as email, without undue delay.

You must return the products without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which you notified Parfois of your decision to withdraw. The deadline is met if you send back the products before the 14-day period has expired.

Products must be returned through the return method indicated by Parfois during the return process.

If a fixed return cost applies, it will be clearly communicated before you submit the return request.

Parfois will reimburse all payments received from you for the returned products, including standard delivery costs where required by law, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 calendar days from the day on which Parfois is informed of your decision to withdraw. Parfois may withhold reimbursement until it has received the goods back or until you provide proof of return, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the initial transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise and if you do not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal described above, Parfois grants a voluntary return period of 30 days from the date of delivery. This voluntary policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Products returned under the voluntary return policy must be unused, in their original condition, with original tags and, where applicable, in their original packaging.

Returns must be requested through the return process available on the Platform here.

Returns sent using methods not provided or approved by Parfois may be refused and returned to the sender, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Shipping costs for voluntary returns are borne by the customer unless Parfois expressly offers a free return method or agrees otherwise. If a fixed return fee applies, it may be deducted from the refund amount and will be communicated in advance.

Refunds under the voluntary return policy will be initiated once the returned items have been received and inspected to verify that they comply with the return conditions. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

Returns cannot be made in physical stores or return points located in Romania or other countries and cannot be sent to any address other than the return address or return method provided by Parfois, unless expressly indicated otherwise.


9.1 Special return conditions

Due to the specific characteristics of some products, the following conditions apply:

  • Swimwear must include the hygiene sticker; the label and protective sticker must remain intact.
  • Sealed products that cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons may not be returned after unsealing, unless defective or non-conforming.
  • Reusable masks cannot be returned or exchanged, unless defective or non-conforming.
  • Customized or personalized items made according to the consumer’s specifications cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal and cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed, unless defective or non-conforming.
  • Perfumes and cosmetics may only be returned if the original sealed packaging remains intact, unless defective or non-conforming.
  • Items sold as part of a set or pack cannot be returned separately unless expressly allowed by Parfois.
  • Accessories must be returned in their original packaging where applicable.

If a return does not meet the applicable conditions, Parfois may refuse the return or reduce the refund amount permitted by law. This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights in relation to defective or non-conforming products.

Parfois is liable for any lack of conformity of the products in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

If you consider that a product is defective or does not conform to the Contract at the time of delivery, please contact Parfois as soon as possible through the contact form here, or by email at contact@parfois.com, or by telephone at + XX XXXXXXXXX providing the order number, product details and a description of the issue.

If, after examination, Parfois confirms that the product is defective or non-conforming, you are entitled to the legal remedies provided by applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction or termination of the Contract with refund, as applicable.

Any refund due in respect of defective or non-conforming products will be made without undue delay and, in any event, within the maximum period required by applicable law, using the same payment method used for the purchase unless otherwise expressly agreed.

Where the return is due to a confirmed defect or lack of conformity, Parfois will bear the necessary return costs in accordance with applicable law.

Defects or malfunctions resulting from improper use, failure to follow product instructions, normal wear and tear, negligent handling, unauthorized repair or circumstances outside Parfois’ control may be excluded from conformity remedies to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These legal rights apply independently of, and in addition to, the voluntary return policy described in Clause 9 and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Where applicable, products made with precious metals comply with relevant legal requirements and may bear appropriate markings.

All copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in the Platform and its content remain the property of Parfois or its licensors. You may use the Platform only as expressly authorized and to the extent necessary to browse, place orders and keep information relating to your order or Contract.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit, publish or otherwise use Platform content without prior written consent, except where legally permitted.

Parfois makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the Platform operates properly and that information displayed is accurate and up to date. However, access to the Platform may occasionally be suspended, restricted or interrupted for maintenance, technical reasons, updates or circumstances beyond Parfois’ reasonable control.

Parfois reserves the right to correct errors or omissions and to update information on the Platform at any time, without affecting orders already accepted, except as expressly provided in these Terms & Conditions and in accordance with applicable law.

For contractual purposes and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that communications with Parfois may be made electronically, including by email, through the Platform, through the contact form or by other durable medium where applicable.

Customers may contact Parfois using the following channels:

Parfois may contact you by email, SMS, telephone or other contact details provided by you were necessary for order processing, delivery, customer support, fraud prevention or other purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

Customer support may be provided in English and Romanian. Responses may be translated for convenience.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings, where this feature is available, or by contacting Parfois through the contact form.

Certain information may be retained where required or permitted by law, including for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, legal defense or compliance purposes. Further details are provided in the Privacy Policy.

Parfois shall not be liable for failure or delay in fulfilling obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, strikes, epidemics, transport disruptions, telecommunications failures, governmental actions or restrictions, or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented or avoided.

Parfois’ obligations will be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event. Parfois will use reasonable efforts to minimize the impact of such event and to find a solution enabling performance of the Contract. If the force majeure event prevents performance for a prolonged period, either party may be entitled to terminate the Contract in accordance with applicable law, with refund of amounts paid where applicable.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or materials. Such links are provided for information purposes.

Parfois does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, policies or practices, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, including where Parfois has actual knowledge of unlawful content or activity and fails to act as required by law.

These Terms & Conditions and any documents expressly referred to herein constitute the entire agreement between “you” and Parfois regarding the use of the Platform and the purchase of products through it, superseding any prior agreement or understanding relating to the same subject matter.

The Parties confirm that they have mutually concluded the Agreement independently of any statement or promise of the other Party or which could be derived from any statement or document in the negotiations of the two Parties prior to the said Agreement, except those expressly stated in these Provisions.

Neither Party shall bring any legal action related to a misrepresentation of the other Party, whether oral or written, prior to the date of the Agreement (unless said misrepresentation was made by reason of fraud). The only legal action that the other Party may initiate is for breach of contract in accordance with the provisions of these Terms.

Nothing in this clause limits or excludes any statutory rights you may have as a consumer or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

These Terms & Conditions must be made available to Romanian consumers in Romanian. They may also be made available in English or other languages.

In case of inconsistency between language versions, the version indicated as legally prevailing on the Platform shall apply, without prejudice to any mandatory rights provided by Romanian consumer protection law.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Poland.

Consumers residing in Romania shall also benefit from any mandatory Romanian consumer protection provisions applicable in their country of residence. Nothing in this clause deprives consumers of any mandatory consumer protection rights or jurisdiction rights under applicable law.

Any disputes arising from or relating to the use of the Platform or Contracts concluded through the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

Parfois will make reasonable efforts to respond to complaints as soon as possible and, in any event, within the maximum period required by applicable law, which shall not exceed 30 calendar days.

Consumers may also contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor – ANPC): www.anpc.gov.ro.

Consumers may also address the competent courts, in accordance with applicable law.
